Secondary handbrake cable K10053
This week ABS release a secondary handbrake cable for the 2016 generation Hyundai Tucson and Kia Sportage; K10053. This cable K10053 is for the right hand side. Earlier ABS released cable K10050 for the left hand side. Similar in length but with different bracketry.
The 2016 version of the Kia Sportage is the fourth generation of this popular model. Kia unveiled its newly redesigned Sportage at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015, and brought it to market in 2016 (as a 2017 model in North America). The company said the contrasting sharp edges and smooth surfaces were inspired by modern fighter jets. Incidentally the fourth generation Sportage was also sold in China as the Kia KX5.
The 2016 version of the Hyundai Tucson shares the platform of the Kia. On February 17, 2015, Hyundai released the first details about its next-generation Tucson ahead of the crossover's official debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 3, 2015. This model arrived in showrooms in the second half of 2015. Where previous versions where also sold under the IX35 badge Hyundai chose for this generation to change the name back to Tucson globally.
