Brakedisc 18844
This week ABS releases a new front brake disc for the 2018 Ford Focus models; 18844. The 308 mm diameter disc is for the models with a multilink rear suspension ( which carries rear disc 18700, 302 mm). For the models with a semi-rigid axle there is front disc 18747 (282 mm) with the rear disc 18739 (271 mm).
From 1999, when the first US sales for the Ford Focus started, up until 2018 the Ford Focus was also produced in the US. In April 2018, Ford announced that all passenger vehicles but the Mustang would be discontinued in the North American market, in order to focus on trucks and SUVs. The fourth generation of the Ford Focus model is only produced in Germany and China.
Sadly, for those of us who like cars; In April 2020, Ford confirmed there are no plans for a fourth generation Focus RS model due to pan-European emissions standards and high development costs
