Brake caliper 422581
This week ABS is releasing a brake caliper with electronic parking brake for Jaguar /Landrover. Item 422581 (and 422582 for the other side) is a brake caliper for the rear axle of Jaguar F-pace and XE/XF series. It is also found on Landrover Discovery Sport, Evoque and Velar.
These EPB calipers are an addition to the ABS range of EPB calipers that is currently consists of 112 items. Combined with the 3250 other brake calipers ABS supplies they make up one of the best ranges available in the aftermarket today.
Where traditionally the handbrake mechanism in brake calipers is actuated via a cable there are more and more cars with an electric handbrake. The cable/lever assembly is replace by an electric motor/belt/clutch mechanism which is bolted onto the caliper.
These actuator units are available as a separate product. Today just 17 different actuators are available from stock but this range is rapidly expanding.
