Corona Update, IJsselstein 5th of June 2020
Corona regulations in The Netherlands
At this moment additional regulations in The Netherlands have come into effect to reduce the spreading of the virus. This means that all schools, day-care centers, restaurant and bars are closed, and that a lot of Dutch people work from home.
ABS follows all rules and regulations which are set by the national health authorities and the Dutch government.
The ABS office and warehouse are open for business. At ABS we take all the necessary precautions to ensure a safe work environment. A large portion of our team works from home and communicates via e-mail and phone with customers and colleagues. Apart from colleagues working from home instead of the office, it is business as usual at this moment. The in- and outbound flow of goods is under control and orders are shipped on time.
However, our logistics partners experience some problems due to Corona, which means that the parcel services may deliver later than you are used to. View more information from our partners here:
ABS will do anything in its capacity to reduce the impact of Corona on the quality of service. Our warehouse has a healthy buffer to deal with unforeseen circumstances and we do not see any change in our service level of outbound orders.
Do I need to buy extra stock?
From a stock position point of few in the ABS warehouse it is not necessary to place additional orders. However if local government change regulations, logistical limitation may slow down the delivery of orders. Please contact our Sales Managers if you have any special requests for your additional orders to avoid delays.
We will keep you updated on important developments of the corona virus on our business through our website, e-mail and our sales team.
